Why we wear pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're proud to show our
support by wearing pink every Wednesday. Join us in raising awareness and
honoring those affected by breast cancer. As part of our commitment, MIL
will donate $500 to the Susan G. Komen foundation, a contribution that will
be doubled through their matching gift program.
We invite each of you to share your personal reasons for wearing pink
with us by submitting a quote or statement to info@milcorp.com under
the theme, "I wear pink because or in honor of..." Together, we can make a
meaningful difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Let's paint Wednesdays pink and show our support! Send us your best, Insta-
worthy snap of you or your team looking pretty in pink and then search for
your smiling face in a future MIL Connection.
And remember, On Wednesdays, we wear pink!

Matt Myers, NDIA Tester of the Year
MIL is extremely proud to announce that MIL Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) engineer Matt Myers was
selected as NDIA Tester of the Year in the Defense contractor category. Other testers were similarly
chosen in the military and civilian categories for both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. Matt
was nominated by the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron TWO ZERO (VX-20) for his outstanding
work supporting Triton SIGINT. “Triton” is shorthand for the MQ-4C Triton aircraft, a high-altitude
uncrewed aerial vehicle developed by Northrop Grumman to provide maritime intelligence,
surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting.
The National Defense Industry Association (NDIA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, serves as an educational association that
focuses on all aspects of national security. With 66,700 individual members and 1,800 corporate participants, NDIA’s mission is
“to provide a platform through which leaders in government, industry, and academia can collaborate and provide solutions to
advance the national security and defense needs of the nation.”
In an email announcing NDIA’s selection for Tester of the Year, Lieutenant Commander Andrew “Flo Jo” Floro, Government
Flight Test Director for the MQ-4C Triton Integrated Test Team, expressed his excitement at Matt’s recognition, stating:

provided training and support to operators. His work ensured the successful operational deployment
of Triton’s Integrated Functional Capability-4. By coordinating with test, operational, and customer
communities, he demonstrated the distributed Signals Intelligence Operator Concept of Operations,
crucial for Triton’s success in the Navy Fleet.”
Join us and “Flo Jo” in congratulating Matt for his Tester of the Year award and the outstanding performance that inspired it!
