MIL’s global teammates

During a recent trip to Bangkok, Thailand, Patrick Stefl, Program
Director of CSS at the State Department’s Bureau of the Comptroller
and Global Financial Services (CGFS), visited with members of the
integrated project team supporting CGFS along with MIL and prime
contractor IFAS. The team members are independent subcontractors
that support the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) team
under the MIL/IFAS contract headquartered in Charleston, SC.

Lunching and learning at ShmooCon 2024

Fourteen employees from the ETS and Cyber Sectors recently attended ShmooCon 2024, immersing themselves in discussions
surrounding critical information security issues. Amidst the conference, they cheered on their coworkers Ashley Budano-
Thompson and Shaun Henderson competing in Hackfortress, a unique contest blending Team Fortress 2 and cybersecurity.
Beyond the cybersecurity realm, these individuals also indulged in the culinary delights that Washington, DC, had to offer,
savoring the diverse and delicious food options available in the capital city. ShmooCon 2024 provided a unique blend of
professional development, entertainment, and gastronomic delights for the MIL Corporation team, fostering both camaraderie
and a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
