MIL’s DC/MD/VA area employees
celebrate at Annual Crab Feast

To kick-off the fall season, MIL’s DC-MD-VA area employees
gathered at Mayo Beach Park near Annapolis, Md. on Oct. 2
for the Annual Crab Feast and Awards Celebration. Families
and friends were invited to recognize the achievements of our
employees, while enjoying crabs, music, and a variety of activities
for kids and adults, such as kayaking, canoing, face painting, and
a rock wall challenge! It was a beautiful day where all could enjoy
the waterfront scenery.
Marisa Daley, COO, honored our local Employee of the Month
recipients with a plaque award, which included: Waseem Riyaz,
Chris Shrout, Leslie Richardson, Mike Vincent, Holly Tennyson,
and Alex Eng. We were able to learn a little bit more about these
exceptional individuals and how they make MIL shine.
The Annual Kickball Tournament has also become a staple of
this event, where the Bowie Service Center and the C4IS group
compete for the coveted MIL Kickball Cup. This year proved to
be a very close game, with Bowie coming through with a win,
8-7. This is Bowie’s second consecutive win, with C4IS taking the
2012-2014 games.
