Holly Tennyson, a systems analyst
with MIL since 2015, is an integral
member on the Research Development
Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) team
in Lexington Park, Md. She has been
hard at work focusing her efforts on
developing security risk management
capabilities for the RDT&E team,
utilizing the RSA Archer framework.
Holly recently became an RSA Archer
Certified Administrator, confirming her system. This new SharePoint application provides a single IV&V
keen abilities to deploy and maintain reliable enterprise security
systems. Since, she has succeeded in making multiple integrations
and data feeds work that were deemed impossible by RSA Archer
Support Professionals.
Upon completion of an RSA Task, Team Lead Rob Ader had
nothing but praise:
“RSA said it was impossible to use our mail relay to pass
information or alerts, yet Holly was able to make it work,”
said Adler. “HBSS [Hot Base Security System] integration for
compliance is already working in development and just needs
a few more tweaks. And, today, [Holly] was able to get our first
ACAS [Assured Compliance Assessment Solution] data feed to
populate, another task our vendor support professional could not
accomplish.”
Holly’s performance and commitment to excellence has
resulted in multiple letters of commendation from the customer
expressing their belief that she can turn their ideas into reality
using RSA Archer.
Aside from Archer, Holly has provided much needed support and
reach back to the RDT&E SQL administration team for security
and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assistance
and guidance. Holly is an extremely dedicated team member who
pushes both herself and the team towards success; she is a key
asset to both MIL and the RDT&E team.

Since joining the MIL Department of State (DoS) IV&V team in
Jan. 2011, Alex Eng has served as a Systems Analyst. In his role,
Alex has tested software releases for the DOS GFMS and RFMS
applications, separate DoS versions of CGI’s Momentum software
product. Alex expands his Momentum knowledge annually and
is now a product Subject Matter Expert (SME) in several business
process areas. As needed, Alex also tests CRMS, webRABIT and
ICASS, as well as DOS performance and budgeting applications.
In early 2015, Alex helped initiate and now manages updates
to the DOS IV&V MIL vacation / out of office request tracking
Leave Request repository across multiple team locations and
enhances the overall leave management process.
DoS IV&V management uses the comprehensive Vacation / Out
of Office calendar to avoid situations where multiple requests
from team members in different locations but on the same
application team might adversely impact the testing schedule for a
software release. Due to the success of the application, senior DoS
MIL management decided to roll the product out to additional
MIL DOS areas.
Alex brings a can-do attitude to work daily. Beyond the out-
of-office tracking system, he seeks out opportunities to assist
management on tasks outside his traditional role and is available
to support on any management requests. DoS MIL IV&V
Management appreciates Alex’s positive team player approach and
congratulates him on earning employee of the month!
