EOS software is open source. This means that
anyone can clone it and use it as they like
According to the Oxford dictionary, EOS means “the
goddess of dawn”. Although, I believe EOS has
nothing to do with the goddess of dawn - EOS is,
however, the dawn of a new era where blockchain
products are actually usable and able to scale to
commercial heights.
For the sake of pedagogy, I will list and describe the
different things that people mean when they say EOS.

● EOS is a Blockchain
● EOS is a Cryptocurrency
