EOS is a Cryptocurrency (EOS Token)

Cryptocurrency is basically online money that uses
blockchain technology in recording its transactions.
You can use it the way you use your fiat money (naira,
dollars, pounds, etc.) to buy goods, or pay for
services.

By using blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies
gain decentralization, transparency, and immutability.
The most important feature of a cryptocurrency is
that it is not controlled by any central authority,
government or central banks.
