Doctor : You have some wheezing in your chest. This is a usual sign of asthma.
Ms. Allen : But, I don't have asthma. Can I just get asthma suddenly?
Doctor : The symptoms may be caused by a number of triggers and can due to allergic reactions.
Are you living with a pet?
Ms. Allen : Yes. I got a cat a few months ago.
Doctor : Does the cat stay in your room when you sleep?
Ms. Allen : Yes. My room is just one room really.
Doctor : We are going to give you a skin prick test to check for any cat allergy.
Ms. Allen : Oh no! Don't tell me it's the cat! I love my cat. I don't want to give her up.

Doctor : Well, you do not have sneezing symptoms or any nasal congestion , so I don't think that
this is the problem. But it is best to rule it out.
Doctor : Good news...for your cat. You have not reacted to the skin prick test, so it is safe to say
that the asthma is not related to your pet.
Ms. Allen : Oh good. What is the cause?
Doctor : The asthmatic symptoms that you are experiencing may be due to the air pollution. Do you
know what PM2.5 is? There have been some high alerts in the last few weeks.
Ms. Allen : I have heard of it. But I don't know much about it.
