Code of Conduct
Just Better Care Australia has a culture
that upholds standards of honesty,
integrity and equality throughout the
organisation. We respect and support
the fundamental rights of all customers
to continue living independently in
their own home. We respect the rights
of our customers to direct their own
care, choose their own provider, the
services they receive and the freedom
for them to engage an advocate.
In our work practices we respect
the partnerships we have and the
providers we support through
brokerage. We practice ethical
brokerage practices with our partner
organisations, and we commit to not
solicit, entice or approach customers
to change their provider.
Just Better Care staff maintain the
NDIS Code of Conduct, which requires
workers and providers who deliver
NDIS supports to:

Act with respect for individual rights
to freedom of expression, self-
determination and decision-making
in accordance with relevant laws and
conventions
•
Respect the privacy of people with
disability
•
Provide supports and services in a
safe and competent manner with
care and skill
•
Act with integrity, honesty, and
transparency

Promptly take steps to raise and

Take all reasonable steps to prevent
and respond to all forms of violence,
exploitation, neglect, and abuse of

Just Better Care staff maintain the
Aged Care Code of Conduct. Under
the Aged Care Code of conduct when
providing care, supports and services
to people, must:
