Internal Conduct Complaints and
Whistleblowing ”Speak Up” Program
Just Better Care is committed to
developing a culture where all
employees of Just Better Care Australia,
Franchisees and franchise employees
are encouraged to raise concerns
about poor or unacceptable practices,
misconduct or anything improper,
and can do so safely. Just Better Care
has an internal conduct complaints,
whistleblowing procedure and
reporting program called “Speak Up”.
Just Better Care Australia encourages
its employees and those of its
Franchisees to resolve any issues or
concerns that they have at the earliest
opportunity with each other, or failing
that, their immediate supervisor.
Internal conduct complaints such as
disclosures about alleged breaches
of law, breaches of contract,
Just Better Care policy or generally
recognised principles of ethics can be
reported via the “Speak Up” e-form
available on the Just Better Care
Intranet homepage. Reports can be
submitted anonymously and will be
investigated to the extent they can
be without revealing your identity.
However, Just Better Care Australia
encourages individuals to provide
their name when they raise a concern,
where possible. This will assist where
additional information is required to
further an investigation.
Note—Complaints or disclosures
must not be frivolous or vexatious and
must be genuine and based on facts
known to the complainant. Workplace
grievances should be dealt with in
accordance with the Just Better Care
Workplace Grievance procedure.
