(UW) project activities in Côte d’Ivoire
                •  Develop  annual  work  plans,  regular  reporting  (quarterly  progress  reports,  DATIM
                   submissions,  budget  reports,  M&E  reports,  etc.)  in  collaboration  with  the  technical  and
                   implementation team
                •  Develop proposal in collaboration with ITECH HQ and other international NGOs
                •  Provide technical assistance to MOH to develop joint work plan and budget to respond to
                   USG Cooperative Agreement requirements
                •  Reports to the I‐TECH Associate Center Director in Seattle and has dual accountability.
                   Programmatically,  accountable  to  the  Principal  Investigator  (PI).  Administratively,
                   accountable  to  the  Associate  Center  Director  for  ensuring  work  undertaken  locally  is
                   efficient, effective and compliant with all human resource, legal, and financial policies
                As I-TECH Country Technical Director:
                •  Takes responsibility in fulfilling project scope of work by managing the implementation of
                   training, technical, and program activities to ensure that work plans are developed for each
                   activity and deadlines are met.
                •  Provides day-to-day technical guidance, technical assistance, and mentorship on technical
                   strategies being developed or rolled out by the project
                •  Major achievements in Côte d’Ivoire are listed below:
                       ✓  The national laboratory plan in Côte d’Ivoire under the lead of MOH and the
                          collaboration of private and CDC partners have been developed.
                       ✓  12 molecular laboratories have been prepared for ISO 15189 audit; 478 PEPFAR
                          clinical HIV testing sites, and 150 personnel providing HIV testing have been
                          certified (RTCQI) during the project period.
                       ✓  Open ELIS lab software has been installed in 106 laboratories country wide
                       ✓  Viral Load/EID Dashboard in scale-up districts has been maintained and the Lab
                          information System (Open ELIS) upgraded including interoperability with
                          SIGDEP2 and Open ELIS to facilitate/ improve VL demand creation from
                          providers and timely return of results to providers.
