Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

Scripture puts it in Proverbs 23:7a

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” [KJV]
We are all a sum total of what we allow in our minds.

Important as this is, we should
                                             therefore endeavor to have our

Note that God’s doctrines and understanding so as to
people are not avoid the pitfalls of ignorance and,
                    destroyed because
of lack of prayer but misconstrued teachings that results
because of lack of in having a poverty mindset.

 The mind is the power house
of every individual. This is the
very place where all thoughts are
                                             processed. If you subject your
thoughts to negativity, this will have a great influence on what you
               become as a person.

The very first step in the revolution to overcome poverty is for us to
have a renewed mind. Scripture puts it this way:-

“And do not be conformed to the standards of this world [any longer
with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and
progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing
of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes] so
that you may prove for yourselves] what the will of God is, that
which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose
