Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

As pointed out earlier on, with any doctrine, there will always be
skewed understanding that is a by-product of erroneous teachings.
These are caused by the lies and deception of the enemy. The devil
uses misconstrued and half-truths on the subject of prosperity to
               deceive believers.

“And said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself
down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’
and,’ In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot
against a stone. Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall
not [a]tempt the Lord your God.’ Matthew 4:6-7 [NKJV]

Christians will tell you that the Bible
                          
                                             says in Luke 18:24-25 [nIV]
                       If you subject
                     your thoughts to
negativity, this Jesus looked at him and said, “How
will have a great hard it is for the rich to enter the
influence on what kingdom of God! Indeed, it is
                     you become as a
person. easier for a camel to go through the
eye of a needle than for a rich man
                          
to enter the kingdom of God.”

Because of this scripture, some Christians will not desire
               prosperity.

Some people have interpreted this scripture to mean that if you
become rich, you will go to hell. In the days of Christ, there was a
big gate called the “Eye of a needle”, where people passed through.
