Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

with our fathers is by no means obsolete. He is the covenant keeping
               God.

“God said also to Moses, This shall you say to the Israelites; The
Lord, God of your fathers, of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob, has
sent me to you! This is My name forever, and by this name I am to
be remembered to all generations” Exodus 3:15-17 [AMPC]

This is later endorsed by the blood of Jesus and we are a people of
covenant, just as much as the patriarchs were.

               Covenant: The Call to Prosperity

The call of Abraham by God from Haran is the beginning of the
life-long divine appointment to setting us up for unprecedented
prosperity. True and lasting wealth is given by God, and this is what
makes the difference between the secular way of gaining wealth
and the kingdom truths. This covenant still stands to date and even
having been made perfect through the blood of Jesus. The greatest
covenant of all is the sacrifice Christ made on the cross to cleanse
us from all sin. The bible gives the analogy in Genesis

“Go away from your country, from your relatives and from your

father’s house to the land which I will show you; And I will make
you a great nation, I will bless you [abundantly], and make your
name great [exalted, distinguished); and you shall be a blessing [a
source of great good to others]; …Genesis 12”1-3 [AMPC]

After the call and the faithful obedience of Abraham, the Lord
appears to him and cuts the ultimate covenant that introduced
a new chapter of his life and later what we are now entitled to
