Demystifying The Curse Of Poverty
It was wide but low, and therefore, for one to pass through the gate,
they needed to bend.
Jesus was explaining to the crowd that for a camel to go through the
gate the Eye of a needle, it would take a degree of struggle – not
that it was impossible. It does not mean that it is impossible for a
rich man to enter into heaven.
Jesus literally meant that just as people had to bend to enter the gate
of the Eye of a needle, for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of
God, they would need to be humble and mellow.
Sadly, many rich people in church
are proud.
Jesus was trying to say, you cannot If you think you can
never prosper or
come with your pride and arrogance

prosper.
Such people were struggling to be
humble; so Jesus was saying it was
difficult for those people who were
wealthy to remain humble and
enter into the Kingdom of God.
He did nOT mean that it is impossible for a rich man to enter into
the Kingdom of God.
