understand that it’s His way and His rules.
It’s a heavenly, divinely sanctioned, well-orchestrated blue print
that works in the complete opposite. Take a minute then to explore
all the spiritual implications giving has. Giving yields more when
we give than when we hoard our resources for ourselves.
Giving and Blessings: The spiritual conundrum
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same measure that you mete withal it shall be
measured to you again” Luke 6:38 (KJV).
To worship, one has to have reverence, awe and trust in the subject
of worship. The Word of God admonishes us against worshiping
‘other gods” and every other thing we secretly adore and hold in
highest regard because it makes us idolaters.
The Lord will not overlook idolaters; He does not share His glory
with anyone. Giving is an expression of worship (Honour) to God,
giving of any kind be it with the substance of our fields or labour is
an expression of worship to God. He glories or takes delight and -
blesses what we offer to Him.
Understanding First Fruits and its Benefits
“Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all
your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your
vats will brim over with new wine” Proverbs 3:9-10 [NIV]
