Breaking the Curse of Poverty David K. Owusu
“Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering
and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of
holiness!”
God says, in effect, “if you want to come into My courts, to appear
before Me, and to worship Me in the beauty of holiness, then bring
your offering.”
Bringing an Offering, Worship and Holiness are all very closely
connected to our worship to God.
From the above Scripture, there are three observations we can
make: -
1. The Bible says, “Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an
offering.”
This means that bringing an offering gives glory to God.
2. The Bible says “…Bring an
offering and come to Him.”
“if you want to come Bringing an offering gives us access
into My courts, to to God’s courts. God expects us to
appear before Me, bring an offering when we come
and to worship Me into his presence this tells us that
in the beauty of
holiness, then bring our worship is not complete until
your offering.” we bring our offerings to God.
Bringing an offering is a God-
appointed part of our worship.
The Bible continues to say, “Oh,
worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!” The Lord requires us
