Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

Pastor Oswald Smith concluded that God took care of all those
               who faithfully tithed.

What is “Tithe”? Why does it play such a pivotal role in so far as
the blessings and the breaking of curses are concerned? One will
ask what are the biblical truths underlining the subject of tithing?
Is there the need to tithe in this dispensation of grace?
                      Malachi 3:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

10 Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the [a]storehouse, so that
there may be [b]food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says
the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven
and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more
                  room to receive it.

Fundamental Truths of tithing; what you need to know about
               tithing

According to the Easton’s Bible Dictionary “tithe” is a tenth of
produce or income that is consecrated for special purpose. According
to the word tithing is an act of faith by which we honour God and
in so doing he blesses us.

The patriarchs of faith dutifully observed it. As the Lord has said in
His Word that when we honour Him with our tithes He opens the
windows of heaven and pours out a blessing. Abraham is recorded
as having paid his tithe to Melchizedek (Genesis 14:20) and Jacob
is recorded as vowing to pay his tenth to the Lord if the Lord would
bless him. The Bible says this of Jacob

“And this stone which I have set up as a pillar (monument) shall
