               A CELADON JADE HANDLE-SHAPED
               PENDANT
               WARRING STATES PERIOD (475-221 BC)
               The jade is of a slender oblong shape carved in relief on two
               sides with a dense pattern of raised comma shaped scrolls. Incised
               details are extended to the narrow edges which are square-cut and
               notched. The pendant is drilled with a longitudinal channel for
               stringing.
