A PALE GREEN JADE CARVING OF A ‘LINGZHI’
GROUP
17th/18th century
Of irregular ovoid section, deeply hollowed to form
a naturalistically-rendered group of lingzhi sprouting
from gnarled branches, the polished stone of very
pale green tone suffused with icy inclusions and
beige veins.

The pebble finely carved as two large peaches
borne on gnarled branches issuing three smaller
peaches, a monkey seated beside holding a peach,
the stone of pale green tone with russet-brown
inclusions, wood stand.
