The heavily cast, compressed body is raised on three feet and
set with a pair of loop handles, and the base is cast with an
apocryphal three-character Xuande mark. The stand is cast
in the form of three overlapping fower petals, supported
on three ruyi-shaped feet. Both the censer and stand have an
attractive, fnely speckled patina, with a darker, more mottled
color on the undersides and feet.
