The brush pot is well incised with The Heart Sutra in running 姚鼐（1731-1815），字姬傳，一字夢穀，齋號惜抱軒，世稱惜抱先
script, xingshu, followed by a signature, Tongcheng Yao Nai. 生。清桐城派大家，官至刑部郎中。著有《惜抱軒全集》。
