A LINGBI ‘CLOUD & MIST’
SCHOLAR’S ROCK
The blackish-grey stone is wrought with
a small base rising and expanding to a
wide mid-section and constricting to a flat
top with a central irregular perforation,
resembling a celestial cloud ascending
towards the heavenly skies. A fine network
of jagged protrusions and deep pitting
textures the surfaces of the stone.
