2002 The K’ung Hsiang-Hsi (Kong
A BRONZE RITUAL WINE TRIPOD VESSEL, JUE Xiangxi, 1881- 1967) Collection,
LATE SHANG DYNASTY, 13TH-12TH CENTURY BC New York, and thence by descent
within the family.
The vessel is raised on three blade-form supports, and
the sides are fnely cast with two taotie masks formed LITERATURE:
by pairs of addorsed birds, one mask is centered by a
narrow fange, the other by an inscription cast under Rong Geng, Jinwen bian fulu, 1938,
