The vessel is well-carved to the exterior with three evenly-spaced phoenix p. 136, no. 99. See also a similar green jade censer, also marked Qianlong,
with their wings outstretched, standing erect with their claws resting on the illustrated in Masterworks of Chinese Jade in the National Palace Museum,
foot rim. The stone is of a sea-green tone with a few scattered darker fecked Supplement, Taipei, 1973, no. 41.
