A LARGE GILT-LACQUER BRONZE FIGURE OF LONGNÜ
MING DYNASTY, 15TH / 16TH CENTURY
the gilt figure cast as the Dragon Princess Longnü standing with her face turned slightly to
the left, her hands held together in front of her chest supporting a sacred pearl, adorned
with an elaborate headdress and long flowing robes detailed with lotus motifs, the gilt-
lacquered two-toned surface of a smooth patina
