A BRONZE 'RUYI-HEAD' VASE
LATE MING DYNASTY
of elegant pear-shaped form, the gently curved body rising to a waisted neck and wide
flaring mouthrim, the neck bordered with a raised double-rib band, all between two bands
of abstract lotus motifs encircling the mouthrim and above the foot, the exterior patinated
to an attractive variegated brown colour
