Displaying on one side an oni walking under a tattered Provenance
umbrella and holding a basket with peonies and wisteria Dieter Sandvoss, Hannover
and on the other side a hanging basket with same
flowers and a basket lid, all rendered in mother-of-pearl, Literature
tortoiseshell, bone, partly stained green, and coral on Illustrated in: Galerie Sandvoss, Netsuke inrô sagemono,
a kinji ground. Part of the basket lid restored, the kinji Hannover without date, cat. no. 171
warped in various areas and some cases can no longer € 1.800 – 2.000
