490	 A four-case wood inrô. Second half 19th century

            Displaying a chirping bird on a cherry blossom branch
            on one side and a camellia branch on the other side, in
            takamaki-e, silvery, black and reddish lacquer on the
            natural wood with a fine grain. Inscription to the inside
            of the lid reading Seisen’in hôin with kaô in red lacquer.
            Nashiji and fundame to the inside.

            Displaying a thatched hut underneath a blossoming plum
            tree and bamboo in hiramaki-e on kinji. Inscribed Shiomi
            Masanari and red seal Masanari. To the inside nashiji
            and fundame. Dents to the top and traces of usage. Large
            chalcedony ojime.
