A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE PHOENIX-FORM A WHITE JADE BUFFALO

feet carved in low relief. The back is centred by a small circular 清十八世紀 白玉臥牛
aperture fitted with a recumbent phoenix-form finial. The stone is
of an attractive semi-translucent white tone with milky speckling
and small areas of russet inclusion.
