KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN AUBERGINE ENAMEL WITHIN

DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)

Each dish is finely incised and enamelled in aubergine and green
with two five-clawed dragons contesting a flaming pearl amidst
flames. The exterior is decorated with four double clusters of
grapes.
Larger: 5 ¿ in. (13.2 cm.) diam.
