A MOULDED YELLOW-GROUND
GREEN-ENAMELLED ‘KUI DRAGON
AND PHOENIX’ VASE

QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY

The vase is moulded on the neck and body with
pairs of confronting kui dragon and phoenix scrolls
in green, reserved against a deep yellow ground,
applied to the neck with a pair of green-enamelled
scroll-shaped handles. The base is enamelled
yellow.
