A TIANHUANG ‘LIONS’ SEAL 清 田黃太師少師鈕方印(84 克)
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911) 刻文:
庚戊八月又二日,偶得此印石,甚喜之,並刻能事不受相促
The rectangular seal is incised on two sides with an inscription 迫之印
bearing the signature of the carver He Xingzhou, surmounted by 汝瑾仁兄以為知,何星州刻之並記
a finial in the form of a cub lion clambering on its mother’s back.
The seal face is carved with a poetic inscription. 印文:
2 º in. (5.6 cm.) high, 84 g, box 能事不受相促迫
