QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is carved as a recumbent
monkey with a long tail coiled to one side,
grasping a large peach in both hands. The
pale celadon stone is of an even tone with
concentrated areas of russet highlighting
the peach and rear of the monkey.

A WHITE JADE CARVING OF A
BEAR
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is naturalistically carved in the
round as a bear seated on its haunches with
its chin tucked into its chest. The semi-
translucent stone is of an even white tone
with minor russet inclusions.
