long robes and celestial scarves. The stone
is of a pale celadon tone with some russet
inclusions.

A PALE CELADON JADE FIGURE
OF A BOY
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The boy is modelled playing a drum,
holding a drum stick in one hand and a
sprig of lingzhi fungus in the other, with
a cat carved on the reverse of the drum
forming part of the base. The stone is of an
even pale tone.
