A BLACK AND WHITE JADE CARVING OF TWO
MONKEYS
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The semi-translucent white section of the stone is carved and
pierced in the form of a young monkey mounted on top of its
parent, which it rendered from the blackish-grey part of the stone.
