QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
Each bowl is thinly and delicately
carved with two concentric bands of
petals radiating from the cross-hatched
flowerhead in the centre of the interior.
The base is supported on a short plain foot.

MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
The rounded body is finely incised with
two friezes of sword-pommel scrolls,
which are separated by two handles in
the form of stylised C-scrolls incised with
archaistic scroll patterns. The creamy
stone is suffused with russet streaks and
inclusions.
