The vessel is cast with a characteristic pair of short posts on 莫士撝
the mouth rim dividing the elongated pouring mouth and an 《水松石山房藏珍玩專場 II》,香港蘇富比,2012 年
exaggerated lip. The exterior of the cylindrical receptacle is 4 月 4 日,拍品 139 號
decorated with taotie-masks against a leiwen-ground and is divided 奉文堂珍藏
by vertical flanges, with a loop-handle to one side emerging
from an animal-head, all raised on three tapered blade legs. The 展覽:
base is inscribed in seal script with characters Boshen zuo baoyi,
‘Boshen made this precious vessel’. It is decorated overall with 香港大學馮平山博物館,《文玩萃珍》,香港,1986
