A CARVED BOXWOOD STAND
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The fan-shaped top is supported on aprons carved with stylised
taotie masks, and rise from four long feet emerging from mythical-
beast masks terminating in paws which are connected by four
stretchers.
