A RARE RELIEF-DECORATED GREEN-ENAMELED
'NARCISSUS' BOWL
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER IMPRESSED SEAL MARK AND
OF THE PERIOD (1735-1796)
The shallow bowl with everted rim is raised on four feet, and the sides
are finely decorated in relief with six foliate sprays, each centered with
a central blossom flanked by two blossoms shown in profile, all borne
on scrolling stems, while each foot is decorated with stylized conjoined
tendrils, the whole covered overall with an opaque enamel of milky
mint-green color.
