A RARE UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND ENAMEL-DECORATED
DISH
ZHENGDE-JIAJING PERIOD (1506-1566)
The interior is decorated with a central lotus blossom and the exterior is
decorated with five fish in iron-red above waves in underglaze blue and
green enamel. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
7 in. (17.7 cm.) diam.
