FIVE ARCHAIC-STYLE JADE ORNAMENTS
Comprising of a rectangular form plaque carved
in openwork in the form of a sinuous chilong, the
body detailed with scrolling motifs, the matrix a pale
green hue with dark russet patch; the second a pair
of circular rings carved with continuous diagonal
spiral fluting, the stone a pale hue with dark russet
inclusions; the third two arc-shaped huang carved in
the form of fish, each with two suspension holes at
the head and tail, the stone pale-greenish hue with
205 white inclusions and patches. (5)

SIX JADE ORNAMENTS AND A BRONZE
BUCKLE
Style of Western Zhou and Warring States
the bronze buckle Six Dynasties
The arch-shaped huang finely carved on both sides,
the low relief depicting a human head in profile,
drilled on both ends for stringing, the pale celadon
stone of even color softly polished; the dragon
with its head turned back facing the curled body,
decorated with neatly lined scroll pattern, the pale
celadon stone with natural inclusions; the U-shaped
jue finely decorated with scroll patterns, each end
carved with a dragon head with open mouth, the
translucent stone highly polished; the trapezoid
pendant engraved with simple lines, the reverse
unfinished, the pale celadon stone softly polished
and with natural inclusions; the thinly carved plaque
carved in a silhouette of a dragon and decorated
with simple engraved lines, the reverse undecorated
and polished flat, the translucent stone turned
cloudy in areas; the gilt bronze belt buckle finely
cast in openwork depicting a dragon confronting
a phoenix, the border attached by small rivets, the
square mount with a hook installed at one end, the
underside plain and showing the dark grey metal
with light encrustation of malachite. (6)
