           A FINE ROOT AMBER 'SQUIRREL AND VINE' BOTTLE
           1750-1860
           Of spade shape and attractively carved in medium relief in a
           continuous scene with four squirrels amidst leafy grapevine with woody
           stems that rises form pierced rockwork that encircles the foot, the
           narrow sides well-carved in high-relief with lion-mask fixed-ring handles
           below the gently sloping shoulders, a single lingzhi rising near one
           narrow side, all below a cylindrical neck with small mouth opening and
           all supported on a short rounded oval foot ring with shallow cut flat
           base, the amber of a highly attractive honey and golden brown amber
           with some small areas of transparent darker tone.
