A SMALL MACARONI AGATE BOTTLE
1800-1900
Of rounded square shape with gently sloping shoulders, the matrix
of the stone with irregular white tubular striations that run through
the body and visible mostly to one main face, the other with banded
markings and cloud-like inclusions, the stone with some translucent
points, the narrow sides carved simply with large lion-mask fixed-ring
oval handles below a cylindrical neck with regular mouth opening and
all supported on a rounded oval foot ring and neatly cut flat base.
