reaching into the centre of the dish, the stems issuing three luscious
peony blossoms amid elegantly curling leaves, all enclosed within an
incised circle leaving the border beneath the rim undecorated, the
exterior similarly incised with a simple line beneath the rim, all covered
with a greyish-green glaze with a fine craquelure pooling attractively in
the recesses.
