One with small brownish flecks smoothly formed as a flattened ovoid bottle
raised on a low oval foot, the other rounded and of a greyish tone carved with
an animal-head ring-handle on each side and also raised on a low foot. The
taller 5.2cm (2 1/8in) high (2).

An unusual agate snuff bottle and stopper
19th century
The russet skin of the agate carved as a boy vigorously raising a stick to beat
back a coiling snake as two bats fly overhead, the reverse plain with light
inclusions, the stopper also agate. The bottle 4.6cm (2¼in) high (2).

One carved with a scholar in a pagoda watching two boys playing in the
garden, the reverse with a scholar observing two gentlemen playing weiqi,
6cm (2 3/8in) high, fitted box; the other carved with a mother carrying a
baby while riding a buffalo as an attendant holds up a parasol observed by
a scholar and a boy in a pagoda, the reverse with an official riding a buffalo,
7cm (2¾in) high, fitted wooden box. (6).
