A rare famille rose porcelain table screen
19th century
The porcelain delicately painted with an official seated wearing a fur
coat over a blue robe and an official’s hat with gilt finial, the left hand
plucking at his long grey beard, all within a chamber richly decorated
with a landscape painting and a flower painting, and furnished with a
yellow seat and two lingzhi fungus in a celadon vase beside books on a
low kang table, framed, wood stand.
The panel and frame 40cm wide x 54cm high
(15¾in wide x 21¼in high) (2).
