The yellow silk ground featuring the twelve symbols of Imperial Late Qing Dynasty
Authority and nine gilt-thread five-clawed dragons chasing flaming Finely woven in muted shades of blue, rust-orange, green and beige,
pearls, surrounded by clouds, bats and shou characters, above the central panel showing a scene of the Summer Palace at Beijing
mountains, crashing waves and a lishui hem, trimmed with navy kesi including Longevity Hill behind a palace courtyard and the distinctive
dragon bands and horseshoe cuffs, the lower sleeves and lining of paddle steamer sailing across the Kunming Lake in the foreground, all
yellow roundel damask silk. surrounded by a border containing pairs of confronted stylised chilong
142cm long x 194cm wide (56in long x 76in wide) bordered with key-fret and a wide band with groups of precious objects
