                          Including a compressed globular jarlet and associated
                          cover with iron brown striped decoration; the second an
                          octagonal-sectioned ovoid jar and cover (finial to cover
                          replaced); the third a hexagonal-sectioned teapot with
                          cover; the fourth a small baluster jar with squirrel and grape
                          decoration (lacking cover, chipped); the fifth a deep dish
                          with phoenix and shou-character decoration (rim repaired
                          with metal band); a pair of covered bowls with sanduo
                          branch decoration; a pair of small teacups with iron-striped
                          rims and traces of gilt decoration; and three other teacups
                          in various sizes with differing decoration (chips).

                          A GROUP OF BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAINS MADE
                          FOR THE VIETNAMESE MARKET
                          19th century and later
                          The largest a deep dish painted with a scholar fishing under
                          a pine tree, bearing the four-character Chinese rou shen
                          zhen chang mark; the second of similar form painted with
                          mandarin ducks and lotus plants reversed by the four-
                          character Chinese man tang fu ji mark (metal-bound rim);
                          the third a small deep dish painted with a traveler and his
                          servant under a pine tree, reversed by the four-character
                          reign mark in Chinese bearing the name of the emperor
                          Tu-duc (1847-1883); the last a teapot with lid, painted with
                          what seems to be a royal hunt scene, metal handle and
                          bands applied to the teapot and cover (repaired and re-
                          stuck). [4]
