6268            Each molded as a full-bellied tripod with a pair of loop handles,
                fitted with a conforming liner and a domed cover: the tripod and
6269            cover finely decorated with two dragons amid flower sprays chasing
                flaming pearls, divided by two descending phoenixes below a narrow
90 | BONHAMS    band of the Eight Buddhist Emblems interspersed with ruyi heads,
                both displaying the six-character mark in underglaze blue standard
                script; the outside edge of the liner accented with gilt striping and the
                underside displaying the same mark in iron red (one cover with chip
                and hairline crack).

                TWO WUCAI ENAMELED JARS WITH FIGURAL DECORATION
                Late Qing/Republic period
                The taller jar painted primarily in a famille verte palette with figures
                and animals from Daoist and Buddhist popular mythology, the
                underglaze blue limited to striping along the neck and the triangle
                band above the unglazed base (firing cracks, chipped); the shorter
                jar showing washes of variegated cobalt blue in the garden rocks
                combined with polychrome-painted flowers along the waisted neck
                and the large faceted rocks in the landscape surrounding a colorfully
                dressed official travelling on horseback with his retinue across the
                bulging walls, the base also unglazed (minor glaze flaws).

                TWO TRANSITIONAL STYLE JARS WITH WUCAI DECORATION
                Late Qing /Republic period
                The first molded with a wide mouth and short neck painted with a
                garden rock and flowering branches above a continuous scene along
                the full ovoid walls of cavalry arriving at a city gate and reversed by a
                message being delivered to an official seated amid male and female
                attendants, the foot and recessed base left unglazed; the second
                with the narrower mouth and neck displaying garden rocks and
                flowers above another martial scene involving an archer aiming his
                bow upward the midst of warriors and generals convened within the
                rock-filled garden, the recessed base painted in cobalt with a double
                ring under a colorless glaze (both jars with some wear to enamels).
