A CELADON GLAZED BOTTLE VASE WITH UNDERGLAZE RED
DECORATION
18th/19th century
Of truncated pear form, now reduced in size and the present lip
mounted with a metal band, the exterior painted in copper red with
opposing fantastic beasts beneath a densely crazed glaze of pale
green hue on the interior and exterior walls but firing clear within the
recessed base (foot chipped).
